Today, you are going to notice something most people skip entirely: where the thought lands in your body.
Every difficult thought has a physical signature. The Catastrophizer lives in the chest. The Critic lives in the jaw. The Pleaser lives in the shoulders. The Comparer lives in the gut. You may not have noticed before, but the body has been keeping a careful record of every pattern that runs through your mind. The Proverbs already told us this. Modern medicine is only now relearning it.
Today, when you catch a thought, also notice where you feel it. One word is enough. Chest. Jaw. Throat. Stomach. The body's report adds a second channel of information that, over time, will help you catch thoughts before they become words.
